According to law enforcement officials, Leslie Jordan is believed to have experienced some sort of medical issue while driving in Hollywood on Wednesday morning, which caused him to crash his BMW into the exterior of a building.

It was unclear, the officers said, if Jordan had experienced a medical emergency prior to the crash or had been killed in it.

He was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee, in 1955, and at age 12 he told his mother he was gay in the fervently religious US state.
