The Adored Actor and Comedian Leslie Jordan Has Passed Aaway

According to law enforcement officials, Leslie Jordan is believed to have experienced some sort of medical issue while driving in Hollywood on Wednesday morning, which caused him to crash his BMW into the exterior of a building.

It was unclear, the officers said, if Jordan had experienced a medical emergency prior to the crash or had been killed in it.

He was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee, in 1955, and at age 12 he told his mother he was gay in the fervently religious US state.

During the pandemic, LJ rose to fame on social media thanks to his humorous video posts, which helped him grow from having only 80,000 to 5.8 million Instagram followers. He revealed on “TMZ Live” that his secret was simply being himself, a hilarious, humorous, goofy, and upbeat senior.

Leslie joined Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen in ringing in 2022 on CNN’s New Year’s Eve 2021 countdown after becoming famous due to a viral epidemic.

In addition to acting in television shows including “Murphy Brown,” “Ugly Betty,” and “Boston Public,” Leslie also acted in films like “The Help” and “Ski Patrol.”
