Cowboys Worked Out Veteran Quarterback On Friday : On Friday, the Dallas Cowboys practised a potential quarterback option. Jacob Eason, a former fourth-round pick, worked out with the Cowboys this afternoon at their facilities.

Eason, a 2020 draught pick, began his NFL career with the Indianapolis Colts and played for them for the first year and a half until joining the Seattle Seahawks in the middle of the 2021 campaign. Earlier this year, he alternated between the practise squad roster and the Carolina Panthers.

In his first game of the year, Eason came on during a rout against the Los Angeles Rams and completed three of five passes for 59 yards and one interception. In two career games, he has 84 yards, no touchdowns, and two interceptions.

The Cowboys’ starter since Dak Prescott’s injury earlier this season has been Cooper Rush. The team also has backup quarterback Will Grier available.
