Broadcaster and Legendary Hockey Player Died at Age 70: Numerous sources state that Hall of Fame Peter McNab passed away over the weekend. In his 14 years in the NHL, McNab established himself as a player, playing for the New Jersey Devils, Boston Bruins, Buffalo Sabres, and Vancouver Canucks.

Later, he had a successful career in radio. According to the Associated Press, “The Avalanche revealed it on social media in a joint statement with Altitude TV.

In late summer of 2021, McNab announced that he was battling cancer; however, in February, he stated that it was in remission. The Report goes on to say, McNab was a member of the broadcast crew when the Avalanche defeated Tampa Bay to win their third Stanley Cup in June.
